Journey's End was started as a sanctuary for unwanted, abandoned, and disabled animals many years ago.  A safe homelike environment, no cages or kennels, full of love and compassion for the animals. We are able to take care of the animals, thanks to our gracious donors.

Journey's End has always been a sanctuary where animals can live out their lives, which is the reason we don't have space for new animals on a regular basis.  We don't have turnover from adoptions like a rescue or shelter does.

For the first time ever, we do have a few cats up for adoption, with the intention to accept more animals in the future. 

 

When we are in a position to receive more animals, intakes will be done on a case by case basis, although preference will be given to senior animals.
